Ukyo Shuto

Holding onto an 8-6 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth, Team Japan needed to do all they could to not allow a late Team Korea rally – and Ukyo Shuto did just that. The center fielder tracked Jahmai Jones’ deep fly ball all the way to the wall and made a leaping snare to secure the second out of the inning – drawing wild applause from the crowd and teammates alike.
