Paul Skenes

It was business as usual for Paul Skenes against Milwaukee. Flirting with perfection, he retired the first 20 Brewers batters he faced before allowing a two-out knock in the seventh frame of an eventual 6-0 Pittsburgh victory. Skenes came away with the win, with his bid of six and 2/3 perfect innings tied for the franchise’s third longest in the Expansion Era (since 1961).
