Chicago White Sox pitching prospect David Sandlin quickly settled down after giving up a leadoff blast, collecting a win in his MLB debut. The Oklahoma native hurled six frames of one-run ball, retiring 18 straight Minnesota batters after the homer. That stretch gave Sandlin the most for any White Sox pitcher making his debut over at least the last 100 years.
