Gage Jump

Athletics southpaw Gage Jump helped his cause in tallying his first big-league victory, keeping the Chicago Cubs at bay. The team’s No. 3 prospect allowed just a run over seven innings and punched out five batters. Jump also became the first Club hurler to toss seven innings and allow one or no runs in his first or second MLB outing since 2017 (Paul Blackburn).
