With the gold medal on the line, all eyes were on one of figure skating’s most impressive talents – and the “Quad God” did not disappoint. 21-year-old Ilia Malinin put together an incredible program to earn a score of 200.03, edging out Team Japan and delivering gold in Team Figure Skating. When asked on his feelings of wearing gold, Malinin said it “brings me so much joy.”
