Chase Petty

With one out, two runners on, and a 1-1 score, the Cincinnati Reds called upon young hurler Chase Petty in the top of the seventh inning. The youngster rose to the occasion, escaping the jam without allowing a run. Petty’s appearance of 1.2 innings would lead the Reds to a 2-1 triumph over the Arizona Diamondbacks, but also marked the first win of his MLB career.
