Dustin May turned in a beauty for the St. Louis Cardinals, leading them to a dominant 3-0 win over the San Diego Padres. The 28-year-old carried a perfecto into the seventh inning before finishing with a one-hit complete-game shutout for the first such effort of his career. May’s outing marked the first shutout by a Cardinals starter since Sonny Gray (June, 2025).
