Cade Cavalli had himself a night out in Boston, striking out a career-high 13 batters en route to an 8-1 win. The Washington Nationals righty allowed just one run across seven innings of work, adding a baker’s dozen of punchouts. Cavalli is the first Nationals hurler to toss seven-plus frames with 10 or more strikeouts and allow one hit or fewer since 2018 (Max Scherzer).
