The Kansas City Royals bats were on display, establishing a new franchise record in a 15-1 win. The team scored a run in every inning they batted in to set a Royals mark of nine consecutive frames, going back to the day prior. It’s only the second time the Club has scored in the first eight innings of a game (1998) and the first since the Chicago White Sox did so in 2016.
