Tarik Skubal

With over 40,000 fans packed into Comerica Park to see the Detroit Tigers host the Kansas City Royals, starting pitcher Tarik Skubal certainly put on a show for the home crowd. The 29-year-old southpaw allowed just one run over seven and a third innings, while mowing down a season-high 12 Royals batters - sitting now just one strikeout away from the 1,000-K milestone.
