Will Dion looked great Saturday night for the Nationals. Coming in relief, he threw four and one-third scoreless innings against the Mets, becoming the first team pitcher to do so since 2018. He also tied a record for the 2nd-most strikeouts by a reliever in franchise history. After the game, manager Blake Butera lauded his performance, calling him the "MVP of the game."
