Gavin Williams

Cleveland Guardians ace Gavin Williams was firing on all cylinders against Toronto, racking up a career-high 13 strikeouts in a 6-1 victory. The fourth-year righty tossed seven strong innings, allowing only two hits. Williams’ punchout total not only set a new career high, but it was also the most for a Club pitcher since Triston McKenzie (13) in 2022.
