Adrian Beltré recorded the first hit of his career on June 24, 1998, which was an RBI single off Angels left-hander Chuck Finley. Nearly 20 years later, Beltré doubled against right-hander Kenta Maeda for his 3,090th career hit, as he surpassed Ichiro Suzuki for the most hits recorded by a non-U.S. native.
