Luis Severino became the first pitcher in the Majors to win 12 games this season, with the Yankees improving to 15-2 in games that he has started. Severino has now recorded at least six strikeouts in 23 consecutive road games. Since 1900, only Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez, and Severino have recorded six-plus strikeouts in at least 20 consecutive road games. Severino also threw 12 100-MPH pitches, tying his career-high.
