Matt Carpenter

Matt Carpenter made Cardinals history becoming the first player to tally five hits, five runs, and two home runs in a game and just the 19th player overall in MLB history to do so. The five hits tied a career high, and his five runs scored set one. Carpenter is now in special company joining Stan Musial in 1948 as the second Cardinals player to for five-for-five with five runs scored.
