Justin Verlander

Verlander struck out 14 Dodgers to tie a career high in a dominating outing for the veteran. Verlander allowed just four hits in 7 2/3 innings in a rematch between last year’s World Series teams. Verlander also surpassed 200 strikeouts in the game, marking the eighth time he’s reached that plateau in his career.
