San Francisco Giants hurler Justin Verlander continued his climb to the top of the game's all-time strikeout list by passing one of the most notable pitchers in Club history. With his 3,535th punchout, Verlander passed Gaylord Perry to move to eighth all-time in MLB history. Perry played 10 seasons in San Francisco and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991.
