Yoenis Cespedes

Yoenis Cespedes played the role of hero for the New York Mets in their series finale against the rival Washington Nationals. Cespedes came to the plate in the top of the 12th inning and put the Mets ahead as he drove in Juan Lagares for what would turn out to be the game's winning run. With the win, the Mets have now won five straight games and completed the series sweep of the Washington Nationals to improve their record to 7-1, the best eight-game start in franchise history.
