Christian Yelich

Christian Yelich padded his National League MVP resume in the Brewers 8-0 win over the Red by becoming the fifth player in MLB history to hit for the cycle twice in the same season, and the first to do it twice against the same team. Yelich's first cycle came during a six-hit night at Great American Ball Park on August 29th. Yelich joins Aaron Hill (2012), Babe Herman (1931), Tip O'Neil (1887) and Long John Reilly (1883) as the only players to hit for the cycle twice in a season. Yelich became the first Brewers player to hit for the cycle twice in a career.
