Christian Yelich attained another personal milestone in grand fashion before a sold-out American Family Field in Milwaukee. The Milwaukee Brewers left fielder scored his 1,000th career run on a grand slam hit by teammate Andrew Vaughn in a 9-3 win over the Chicago Cubs. With the achievement, Yelich becomes one of only 10 active players to reach the millennium mark in runs.
