Willy Adames

Willy Adames delivered a clutch two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the Rays over the Orioles, 4-3. The Rays trailed by one in the eighth before Adames stepped to the plate with two outs and the bases loaded. His pinch-hit single to left field scored two runs and gave Tampa Bay the lead for good. The Rays bullpen held on to secure the victory, improving their record to 10-4 on the season.
