Talk about a birthday bash! Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames celebrated his 29th cumpleaños on Monday by tying several MLB records and a franchise one as well. With his three-run blast in the first inning against the St. Louis Cardinals, Adames tied the legendary Ken Griffey Jr. (1996) for the most three-run longballs in a season (13). What’s more, he now has homered in five straight games, tying both a Milwaukee franchise record and the longest streak by any MLB shortstop since 1900.
