Charlie Blackmon set the MLB record for hits in a four-game series when he picked up his 15th hit in the final game of a showdown against the division-rival San Diego Padres. Blackmon opened the series with three straight games with four hits, before closing the series with a three-hit performance. Blackmon hit four home runs and drove in 10 runs in the record-breaking series.
