On August 10, Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez threw out three runners attempting to steal in a 5-3 win over the Mariners at Fenway Park. Vazquez threw out Mallex Smith in the 2nd, Jake Bauers in the 5th and Tzu-Wei Lin in the 8th to set a new Red Sox single-game caught-stealing record.
