Trey Mancini・Christian Vázquez

When asked about their exhilarating flurry of trades, just one day before the MLB Trade Deadline, Houston Astros general manager James Click was hopeful that the acquisitions of Trey Mancini and Christian Vazquez would help the Club zero in on the lofty goal of securing a World Series title. Mancini, a veteran high-contact hitter, offers an immediate solution to the Michael Brantley-sized hole in Houston’s lineup. Vazquez, another batter with a penchant for contact hitting, is also coveted by the Astros for his catching proficiency.
