The three home runs marked the first time in Seattle Mariners history that a player has hit that total in the first three games of his career. The 24-year-old outfielder has impressed the Mariners with a gaudy .455 batting average to go along with his three home runs and five RBI in just his first 11 at-bats in the Majors.
