Mike Yastrzemski made franchise history in the batters' box his grandfather, Carl, once starred in at Fenway Park, becoming the first Giants rookie since 1972 to reach 20 home runs in the season. Mike, who played left field, punctuated a special night with a home run to dead center in the fourth inning of an eventual 15-inning, 7-6 win over the Red Sox.
