Luis Robert

COLLECTS FIRST CAREER HIT ON FIRST PITCH SEEN

Luis Robert - MLB TOPPS NOW® Card 11 - Print Run: 15161

Luis Robert, ranked as the third-best prospect in Baseball, went into Opening Day facing high expectations, and he did not dissapoint. The 22-year-old rookie wasted no time in his MLB debut, smacking the first pitch he saw for a single that came off the bat at 115.8 mph. For perspective, the White Sox had only one ball hit harder than that in all of 2019 (117.9 mph by José Abreu).
