Deivi García

Deivi Garcia impressed immediately in his MLB debut, retiring the first nine batters faced, including five punchouts. Garcia continued to keep the Mets lineup in check, allowing no runs and just four hits over six innings pitched with six strikeouts and zero walks. The dominant MLB debut marked the first time in Yankees history a rookie pitcher debuted with those numbers in that amount of innings.
