Roger Clemens

OCTOBER 14, 2000 — The Yankees turned the ball over to Roger Clemens in Game 4 of the ALCS, looking to extend their series advantage to 3-1. Clemens came out of the gates hot, carrying a no-hitter through six frames and striking out eight batters. The right-hander then produced seven more punchouts over the final three innings of the game to set an ALCS record with 15 strikeouts.
