The first game of Wednesday's doubleheader between the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox featured an offensive outpouring that had not been seen by Cleveland fans in over 86 years. In the second inning, the Guardians put up nine runs before recording their first out of the frame. In an incredible moment of irony, the last time this was during a doubleheader back in 1936 versus – you guessed it – the Chicago White Sox.
