Freddie Freeman

Not to be overshadowed in what was a historic game for the Braves franchise, Freddie reached a personal milestone on Wednesday evening as well. The fan-favorite first baseman collected his 1,500th career hit in what would be a three-hit, six RBI night for the 30-year-old. Freeman singled in the second inning and then hit a two-run homer in the third to reach the 1,500-hit plateau. He becomes the 12th player in Braves history to collect 1,500 hits and now ranks fourth in Atlanta's history, which dates back to 1966 after the team's move from Milwaukee.
