Freddie Freeman

Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman is in rarefied air after his latest career achievement. The 36-year-old veteran logged his 2,500th MLB hit during a 12-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, making him the only active player to reach the milestone. "Something like 2,500 hits is really special, and it means a lot to me," Freeman said. "It's significant."
