Jason Heyward・Ildemaro Vargas

With the Cubs trailing, 2-0, in the ninth inning, the squad was able to put two runners aboard for Jason Heyward. The slugging outfielder then crushed a 1-2 fastball from Josh Hader to put the Cubs ahead, 3-2. Ildemaro Vargas followed that up with a home run of his own to give the Cubs insurance in an eventual 4-2 win.
