11TH CONSECUTIVE GAME WITH HR TO OPEN SEASON SETS YANKEES® RECORD
New York Yankees - MLB TOPPS NOW® Card 59 - Print Run: 463
After splitting Wednesday's doubleheader with the Phillies, the Yankees sit happily atop the AL East standings with a 9-2 record. Manager Aaron Boone has to be happy with his club that set a new team record in the fourth inning of Game 2. First baseman Luke Voit's solo home run made it eleven straight games with a home run to begin the season, setting a new record for the Bronx Bombers. The team's 23 longballs paces the whole league in that category.
