Alex Verdugo blasted two opposite-field home runs over the Green Monster, bringing his total on the season to three. Then he added he added a defensive highlight to his night in the top of the ninth, leaping high over the right-field wall to rob Travis Shaw of a home run. Verdugo's offense and defense led the way for Boston's 5-3 victory over the Blue Jays.
