JUNE 15, 1963 — Juan came into his start against the Houston Colt .45s after back-to-back complete games. The right-hander ended up pitching all nine innings for a third consecutive consecutive game, but this impressive performance was historic. Juan allowed zero hits and struck out five batters, becoming the first Giants pitcher since 1929 to throw a no-hitter.
