Harold Baines

JULY 7, 1982 — Baines got the White Sox on the board in the bottom of the fifth inning with a solo home run. The outfielder added another blast in the seventh inning, but it wasn’t until the eighth where Baines truly broke the game open. With the White Sox holding a 3-0 advantage, Baines clubbed a grand slam, his third blast of the game, to put his team ahead, 7-0. With the monster homer, Baines drove in his third, fourth, fifth and sixth runs of the game.
