JULY 6, 1933 — In the first ever MLB All-Star Game, Babe stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the third inning. With teammate Lou Gehrig looming on deck and a game filled with superstars, it was The Bambino who shone the brightest. The iconic slugger blasted a mammoth home run into the right-field seats, marking the first roundtripper in MLB All-Star Game history.
