Jacob deGrom

Jacob deGrom's 2019 season was historic, as he became the first pitcher in Mets history to win back-to-back Cy Young Awards. He led the majors with a 1.70 ERA, struck out 255 batters in 204 innings, and posted a 1.12 WHIP. deGrom also set a career-high with 24 quality starts and allowed three or fewer earned runs in 25 of his 32 starts. His dominance earned him a third-place finish in NL MVP voting and secured his place as one of the game's premier pitchers.
