Looking to bolster their starting rotation for the 2021 season, the Padres made the first big splash of the offseason, sending four players to Tampa Bay in exchange for left-hander Blake Snell. The 28-year-old posted a 4-2 record with a 3.24 ERA in 11 starts last season. Snell went on to make six Postseason starts for the Rays, where he finished 2-2 with a 3.03 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 29.2 innings.
