Blake Snell・Chris Sale

Monday night’s battle between Chris Sale and Blake Snell in San Francisco was a pitching duel of historic proportions. Sale notched a season-high 12 strikeouts over seven shutout frames, while Snell dazzled by striking out 11 batters and carrying a no-hitter into the seventh inning just 10 days after tossing a no-no. In the end, the Braves won 1-0, and the southpaws became the first opposing pitchers ever with at least 10 punchouts while allowing three hits or fewer and zero runs.
