Ian Anderson led the way for the Atlanta Braves 2-0, World Series Game 3 victory over the Houston Astros with a historic performance on the bump. The Rexford, New York, native fired five scoreless innings, allowed no hits and fanned four batters. With this effort, Anderson is just the second rookie to hurl at least five no-hit innings in a World Series game. The 23-year-old is also the first pitcher to allow five earned runs or less over his first eight Postseason starts. Lastly, Ian became the first rookie in franchise history to start and win a World Series game.
