The 23-year-old right-hander scattered just three hits over five scoreless innings pitched and fanned six batters. Anderson’s outing was guided by his change-up, where he induced 10 whiffs on 18 swings. "It was definitely a good pitch today," Anderson said. "I saw Charlie [Morton] and Max [Fried] have success with the big curveball. It’s tempting to go to that, but that’s not really my style."
