Martín Maldonado led the way at the plate for the Houston Astros 9-5, World Series Game 5 victory over the Atlanta Braves with a historic day at the plate. Maldonado went 1-for-3 with a walk and a team-high three total RBI. With this effort, the Naguabo, Puerto Rico, product is the first catcher with a three-RBI performance in a potential World Series elimination game since Steve Yeager in 1977.
