Jose Canseco

After his two-home-run outburst in the Sunday contest between the Oakland Athletics and the Seattle Mariners, Jose Canseco became the first player in MLB history to club 30 longballs and drive in 100 runs during each of his first three big-league seasons. The Cuban-born slugger belted a two-run homer in the top of the fourth inning and would follow up with a solo blast in the top of the sixth inning. Canseco's efforts paved way for the Athletics 6-2 win.
