Boston Red Sox slugger Jose Canseco hit his fifth home run in as many days, becoming just the fifth player in franchise history to hit home runs in five consecutive contests. This history-making home run was struck in the ninth inning of a meeting between Canseco's Red Sox and the Oakland Athletics. Unfortunately, Canseco's effort was too late to help his Club fight back from their eventual 6-1 loss.
