Gary Sánchez

Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez hit his second home run of the 2021 season in the 4th inning against the Toronto Blue Jays to break a 1-1 tie. After going yard on Opening Day as well, Sanchez joins Elston Howard as the only Yankees catchers to homer in their first two games of the season (Howard did so in 1963).
