The 38-year-old slugger is now the all-time hits leader for all Venezuelan-born players, and has moved past Omar Vizquel for the 43rd most hits in MLB history. Cabrera also leads all Venezuelan-born players with 489 career home runs, 1,735 RBI, 1,461 runs scored and 582 doubles.
