Corbin Burns stands alone in MLB history as he has now struck out 58 consecutive batters without issuing a walk - that is the longest stretch of any season since the mound was moved to its current distance in 1893. The Milwaukee Brewers ace tossed five strong innings of one-run ball and fanned nine St. Louis Cardinals hitters. Burns sole walk of the season came in the fifth to put his historic streak to a halt.
